WHAT IS OTC?

Own The Cards (or OTC) is simply a great poker (Texas Hold'em) application you can use to play with your friends online, unrelated with any poker website. You will not be charged rake or any other costs, and if you play for $$$, create whatever arrangement you like with your friends.

In other words, classic Fri night poker game without you springing for the beer and pretzels :)

IS OTC FREE(WARE)?

Yep, its 100% free.

CAN I PLAY OTC IN MY LOCAL NETWORK?

To play OwnTheCards, you need to use the server (which takes care of dispatching messages between players). OwnTheCards.com hosts a free server which can be used via Internet by all players, however if you are behind a company firewall or within a VPN, you can also use the Local OTC server component supplied with every copy of OTC. Please consult the documentation supplied with your copy of OTC for details on how to set up and start the server component.

CAN I CREATE MY OWN AVATAR FROM A PHOTO/PICTURE FILE?

Currently OTC only supports the set of 12 pre-defined avatars. However, we are open for suggestions and if there is sufficient number of users who would like to create their own avatars, we will incorporate this in the next version of the software.

I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A GAMBLING PROBLEM. WHAT DO I DO?
